I would say the food is generally par to a 2 Michelin stars. The chef is generous with the caviar portion. For the wine pairing, I was expecting a bit more of the wine explanation about the region, weather, expected taste. However the sommelier did not do that. In terms of the service team, they are excellent especially a middle age man who originally from Johor. (Forgot your name!) this time, I was in the chef table which I would say is the best seat where you get a quiet and private place.

Had a very pleasant dining experience at Les Amis. Patrick, our server, was very friendly, attentive, and entertaining. He suggested a perfect wine to have with the steak. He also patiently explained every dish to us. The amuse bouche tartalette with bacon and mushrooms was a good introduction to the meal. Notable food from our dinner are the French egg, crab soufflé, simmered celery root, salted brioche, herb sorbet, and poached pears. The caviar that was thoughtfully used in some of the dishes is an interesting addition of a complex salt flavor; it did not overwhelm the taste of the other ingredients. The wagyu was tender but I expected a bit more flavor and it lacked a bit of surprise. The herb sorbet is most interestingly a refreshing palate cleanser. Overall, it was a memorable and pleasant gastronomic experience.
